左官職人さん制作のトトロ

A professional plasterer volunteered to create this authentic-looking Totoro, a famous and popular character of a Ghibli film, for his grandchildren and kids in the region. As it's standing in a private property, you have to follow the rules and manners. It could be a fun to look for some dust bannies.

霧島連山を臨むのどかな田園の中に静かに佇んでいてくれるトトロ。

スマホ台も用意してくれているので、高千穂峰をバックに良い感じで撮影できます。ちょっと雲がかかっちゃってますが。

左官職人さんが、ご自分のお孫さんや地域の子どもたちのためにつくってくれたものだそうです。

マックロクロスケが隠れていたり、

撮影用の赤い雨傘を借りられるようになっていたりと至れり尽くせり。

一般のご家庭の敷地内なのに駐車場も用意してくださっています。ルールとマナーを守ってありがたく拝見しましょう。場所は鹿児島県との県境にほど近い、高原町というところです。
