隅田川沿いのアート

- As there's nothing to do during the Golden Week because a state of emergency has been issued, I often go running along the Sumida river. There's less homeless people and more arts than before. I really loved the ancient landscape of the town created by mosaic tiles, and the frog orchestra drawn by kids who were to graduate the nearby elementary school a few years ago. This is a great idea as unconfident kids can just copy the drawing by someone else. They created a beautiful frog orchestra which is pleasure to the eye. Anyway, from tomorrow, I will be running along the Tama river instead.
今週いっぱいで終わりとなる御徒町暮らしを堪能すべく隅田川沿いを走りまくってみました。
川沿いはホームレスさんが多いと思い込んでいたけれど意外と少なかったし、あちこちにアートが散りばめられていて見応えもありました。
中でもステキだったのは、モザイクタイルを使って昔の町や人々の生活の様子を描いたコレら。

そしてカエル。
中央区立日本橋小学校の平成21年度卒業生作品です。
絵に自信がない子も、これなら隣の絵を真似て描けるから心配なし。自信のある子や挑戦したい子には楽器を持ったカエルを担当してもらったりして、全員でカエル楽団を描きあげるという一大プロジェクト。ステキだー。これを企画した先生もステキ。
そういうわけで、隅田川とはお別れ。明日からは多摩川沿いを走ることになりそうです。よーし、引っ越しガンバルぞ！
