"Tetsuya Noguchi is an artist who employs warrior armor and helmets as motifs to pose questions about the interiority and diversity of human beings." His exhibition is now held at Pola Museum Annex and Tsutaya both in Ginza. His arts make us feel empathy and provide a feeling of strangeness at the same time, which is very interesting. The exhibition at Tsutaya will be ended at the end of August, so you should go soon to enjoy both exhibitions.

鎧兜をモチーフに人間の内面性や多様性を問いかける美術作家、野口哲哉さんの個展がポーラ ミュージアム アネックスで開催されています。9月11日まで。

現代人が鎧兜を身につけて戦場へと赴く姿など、想像しにくいところを形にしてくれています。たしかに、違和感と共感がいっぺんにやってくる笑。

シャネルが鎧兜をつくるとこうなるのか……。

この兜なら、森に隠れやすそう……でもないか。

銀座に行ったら必ず銀座 蔦屋書店に寄り、何冊か本を買ってくる決まりなのですが笑、そこでも野口哲哉さんの個展が開かれていました。

こちらにはスケッチなど、創作過程に生まれたと思しきものの展示が多く、偶然にも2つの個展を見られたのはラッキーでした。こちらは8月31日までなので、両方行くなら急ぐべし。
